If you searched 'what did the Continental Congress do,' the short answer is that it governed the American colonies between 1774 and 1789. If you searched 'what is the crust made of,' the short answer is that Earth's continental crust is largely granite. If you searched 'Continental WinterContact TS790' because you drive a pickup truck, the short answer is that it's a very capable winter tire. - Check the load index and speed rating against the door sticker on your pickup. A winter tire that looks right can still be wrong for a heavy truck.
- Measure tread depth in at least three points. We reject any tire that doesn't meet the vehicle maker's minimum recommendation for winter use.
- Mount the same model on all four corners. On a pickup, mixing a winter tire on the rear with an all-season on the front is the fastest way to lose stability.
Five minutes of verification beats five days of correction.
